Ministry of Gender, Youth and Child Development congratulates Gift For Life Foundation on copping 1st Place at the National Youths Award 2014.
The theme of the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Child Development National Awards Ceremony 2014 is “Stand up, Step Out”. This ceremony took place on Tuesday 12th August 2014 at Queen’s Hall, St. Anns. The most fundamental belief of the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Child Development is that for every youth, there is a place, a purpose and a plan. From achievements in Arts and Culture to Volunteerism in the Community, the National Youth Awards supports all of you, in the belief that we can grow as a country when we broaden our horizons, beyond our extant industries, ideologies and all of our extant norms. With this in mind, the ministry recognizes the hard work and the measurable impact of Gift For Life Foundation. Ms Shakuntala Ragoonanan (P.R.O.) is still surprised and said:
“Gift For Life Foundation was placed first in the category Volunteerism in the Community Award despite the stiff competition amongst so many other organizations. It is indeed an honor and a lifetime opportunity to have received such an esteem and prestigious award”.
The Ministry of Gender, Youth and Child Development congratulates Gift For Life Foundation on its 1st Place achievement with a cheque of $3000.00.
