Valentine’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to show appreciation for the children we love. It is a day to educate them that it’s not only for boyfriends or girlfriends, but love for all.
On Friday 14th February 2020, Gift For Life Foundation celebrated Valentine’s Day by taking out children to a restaurant. The theme of the evening was ‘LOVE’ and by watching and appreciating the gifts of kindness, time, compassion, respect and a hearty meal with cake, chocolates and ice cream, the children learnt that “I love you” meant so much more than three words inscribed on a candy heart or a cake.
We all need to be cherished. But despite our good intentions, too often we forget to tell the children we love just how precious they are to us. Valentine’s Day for Gift For Life Foundation is a wonderful opportunity to remind all of our children how happy we are that they’re in our lives.
