- The Charity Dinner took place in the Canedo Hall , Centre of Excellence , Macoya from 5:30 pm – 11pm.
- Packed entertainment : DJ, Band , Steel Pan, Christmas Carols, Modelling,Santa Claus, Comedian
- There was a representation from the 53 Orphanages of 150 underprivileged children at the dinner.
- Children’s Homes present : Cyril Ross Nursery for HIV + children – Macoya,Marian’s Boys Home – Port -of -Spain, Ark of Covenant Home – Laventille,Jesus Cares Family Cottage – Arima,Phillip’s Home – Couva ,Amica Girls’ Home – St Augustine, Ezekiel Home – Preysal.
- It was an event to remember – the first time so many children from so many orphanages came together to display their talents to the public – as guest appearances in the programme
- These children were given the opportunity to display their hidden talents on stage …the opportunity to enhance their self esteem ..they were made to feel extra special – treated with lovely gifts and prizes, party bags, dinner, etc.
- Underprivileged children sang .. ‘ we are the world ..we are the children’ ( Michael Jackson),dancing , modeling , talking about their life & experience of Life in an orphanage etc etc.
- Dinner For all – all Buffet – over 12 sumptuous dishes and dessert.
- Lovely ambience and Service.
hi to all.i attended the charity dinner and it was the most memorable event.it was very touching indeed and i have so many unanswered questions that will linger in my mind for a long time.however my family and myself will like to visit the home at st. augustine.we do not know the address so please send us an e mail with the address.thank u so much.

I also attended this Event back then and it was an amazing and an emotional experience to see the kids from the Homes display their talents.
It was nice to see the kids getting an opportunity to come out into the Public and enjoying themselves.
Keep up the good work in giving these children such happiness.
