Rationale for the FREE Educational/ Learning Tuition Centre
- The Gift for Life Foundation’s Free Tuition Centre will provide orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children from rural communities, as well as children’s homes with opportunities to succeed in their education through the extra ‘after school’ and vacation time/weekends academic assistance in the varied curriculum areas. The tuition/educational centre will provide the impetus for such children to become life – long and autonomous learners.
- The aim of the tuition centre is solely to move one step forward in addressing the immediate educational needs of our nation’s disadvantaged children.
- With a profound level of education children themselves will be out off the streets and away from gangs/groups. They will be prevented from forming anti-social behaviors and joining child-labor. The tuition centre is an anticrime drive.
- Citizens from all walks of life can assist in tutoring children after work hours. It is a privilege and opportunity to build team spirit and to give back to the community.
- An effort to make teaching/learning fun and to tap on the different levels of multiple intelligences among underprivileged children where they can be productive and responsible citizens.
