The ‘Gift for Life Foundation’ (GFLF) once again offers a unique blend of glamour and elegance, (contrary to the traditional world of pageantry) to teenage girls among different Children’s Homes. With great difficulty, these girls from various homes were trained and shortlisted to only 15 participants. Empowering young women, while giving them the opportunity to grow and develop a positive self-image, is the focus of GFLF Pageantry 2015. The foundation provided opportunities for these young teenage girls to cultivate their talents and public-speaking abilities, where members helped to facilitate self-confidence. GFLF has been working to offer opportunities, which build life-long memories. Providing experiences which build life-long friendships among the girls from the various Children’s Homes is one of our goals. Through the promotion of good sportsmanship, GFLF is a guiding force in the development of strong delegates, who realize the true beauty which lies within each of them. A main focus is to teach girls not to define themselves by a crown or talent, but by the inner beauty they all possess.

GFLF believes that a girl should be old enough to make a sound, intellectual decision before she can participate in beauty pageants, because it gives her time to learn about herself, experience the struggles of not feeling good about herself, and think about the big picture.

Above all, GFLF wants each girl to realize the importance of education, and on Sunday 28th June 2015, GFLF gave away cash prizes to all the winners. With the support of proud sponsors who also believed that girls needed a savings account towards their education, the following is a list of the winners, the amount of cash donation received and the name of the sponsor:
