However, the Gift for Life Foundation (GFLF), a beacon of light in the lives of many underprivileged families in Trinidad and Tobago, works tirelessly to spread joy and create unforgettable memories. On Mother’s Day 2023, they orchestrated a heartwarming event that reminded us of their unwavering commitment to these families – a cinematic treat at Caribbean Cinemas at South Park.
With a blend of excitement and curiosity, dozens of children under GFLF’s care embarked on a journey of wonderment, as they were taken to experience the magic of cinema. Many were first-time movie-goers, their eyes sparkling with anticipation, their faces lit with the thrill of a new experience. They were offered a respite from the daily struggles, a few hours to simply immerse themselves in the world of imagination and awe.
